Here are my blow-by-blow thoughts of the few minutes of the Emmys I could stomach:

I can't believe I missed the live version of FAME. I could've been singing that song for a week. And the snazzy outfits! Damn my homework!

Is it me or does Mariska Hargitay look hippy? I mean, not in a I'm-encouraging-eating-disorders kind of way, but in a, I'm hippy, if she's hippy, is that good? Am I in now? Despite the fact that if I saw her in person I could probably break her in half with a sneeze?

You thought things were bad on the housewives set BEFORE the Emmys. Like the dress, though.

Wait, I thought Ellen was hosting, where is she?

I cannot believe Patricia Arquette beat out my beloved la Garner for an emmy! That show was on for about 30 seconds! And she sucks ass on it! I know, I've watched it, I like ghost shows. PA has like, no emotion in her monotone voice, although her husband is hot. Also her hair looks horrible.

Charles in Charge is one of my favorite TV shows. When is that shit coming out on DVD?

How have I not watched any of these shows? I am a TV whore. Oh wait, they don't nominate shows on the WB. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Remember when James Spader was hot? It was a small window apparently, because I just watched Sex Lies and Videotape and he looks bad in that movie, but it might be a time warp fashion thang. Also that movie sucks. Don't watch it.

OMG, Hugh Jackman looks an awful lot like Wolverine ... same scruff and everything! But they actually got something right and gave an Emmy to Lost? Well played, sneaking Emmys. Don't think I'm going to forget about snubbing la Garner, and at least she got a nomination, quite unlike la Gellar.


And my journalism professors are scared of blogs ...

My Wolverine Action Figure ... ok. Wolverine went out on reconn this week, AND HE CAME BACK MISSING A CLAW! I KNOW! Where the hell am I supposed to get adamantium, I ask you? Honestly. That guy. I mean, I don't mean to sound uncaring, I know he's going to be okay because he has his crazy healing mutant power going on, but I have a feeling that shit's expensive.
