update

So, the holidaze. Love 'em. I'm home at my parent's pad, typin' on my dad's wireless.

Christmas shopping and returning to my social life was a whirlwind: in three days I went Capitol Hill, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, Friendship Heights, Georgetown, Gallery Place and the Smithsonian. Whew. Trying to partake in the outside world and see what's in this city besides my laptop. And the shopping's is all done! Kind of! Good enough for me, and hopefully Santa.

On the jewelry box front some of you asked what I found, and I finally got one at Pottery Barn. It's cute. But for the 20-something set I would suggest hitting Anthropologie. They have very very cute beaded boxes that are not Anthropologie-expensive. Just so you know.

Anyway, I'm taking a laptop break. I've got one thing to write over the holidaze and keeping up on current events is my main job. And watching soap operas. And keeping it real. As always.
